100th Army Band

Artist Information
The 100th Army Band, affectionately known as the “Band of the Century,” is stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky, under the 81st Readiness Division. The band consists of eight distinct ensembles, including the Concert Band, Rock Band, Jazz Band, Brass Quintet, and Woodwind Quintet, and performs for high profile community and military events. Averaging from 8-14 performances each month, the band passionately shares its dedication for military service and music with thousands of people each year.
In recent years, the band has broadened its outreach, performing nationwide in Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Florida, South Carolina, Kansas, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Virginia, and Hawaii. Some of its most notable performances include a two-week tour in France to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, participation in the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans, a televised performance of the national anthem at the 2025 Talladega 500 Race, and a Fourth of July celebration alongside Plain White T's and Elle King. Most recently, the 100th Army Band is excited to participate in the 2025 Grand Ole Opry “Salute the Troops” event this spring.
All members of the band are reservists who skillfully balance the rigorous demands of Army service and their commitment to professional musicianship with full-time civilian careers. These citizen-soldiers contribute to their communities in the fields of education, event management, technology, firefighting, and more. Through their deep connections to their local community, pride in military service, and passion for music, the soldiers of the 100th Army Band clearly exemplify and celebrate the Army's motto "Be All That You Can Be".
