Alyssa Bonagura

Artist Information
“She’s got an album coming out … pick it up, you won’t believe your ears!” That’s how music industry icon Steven Tyler of Aerosmith praised the work of visionary artist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Alyssa Bonagura. “An outstanding artist” is how legendary British BBC radio presenter Bob Harris echoed those same sentiments. Those and other endorsements of merit along with Alyssa’s overall body of work, have led to her reputation as a powerhouse musical talent on the rise, placing her squarely in the spotlight as one of the best breakthrough artists Nashville has to offer.
A 20 million streaming, 12.6 million U.S. radio impressions, CMT Next Women of Country emerging indie artist, Alyssa’s highly anticipated latest album coming 2025 features multi ACM, CMA & Grammy award-winning artist Charles Kelley (Lady A) and multi Grammy award-nominated blues titan Joe Bonamassa. Writer of the hit song “I Make My Own Sunshine”, covered by Steven Tyler on his #1 Billboard Top Country album “We're All Somebody from Somewhere”, Alyssa’s also known for her work as seen performing with & supporting a number of award-winning cross genre artists such as Billy Joel, Cyndi Lauper, Gary Clark Jr., Jason Mraz, Jessie James Decker, Katy Perry, Phoebe Bridgers, Pink, Rick Springfield, Ringo Starr (The Beatles), Sheryl Crow, Toby Keith and The Who.
Born and raised in Nashville, Alyssa has spent the past decade fine-tuning a sound for her critically-acclaimed solo career that leverages her Nashville roots while reaching far beyond. Her sound is every bit as diverse as her own story as evidenced by any number of both esteemed and rising artists who’ve sought her talents in collaboration. A lifelong road warrior who grew up on a tour bus with her country music parents Baillie & The Boys, she recorded a duet with Kenny Rogers at 10 years old, received her college diploma from Sir Paul McCartney at LIPA in Liverpool, has performed everywhere from legendary venues around the globe (e.g. Country Music Hall of Fame, Grand Ole Opry, Royal Albert Hall) to international arena & stadium shows (e.g. O2 Arena, Wembley Stadium) to major festivals worldwide (e.g. Bonnaroo, C2C, CMA Fest, Highways, Pilgrimage, SXSW, Summerfest, Sundance Film Festival), and balances her performance schedule with an ongoing passion for writing & producing songs for an array of ACM, CMA & Grammy award-winning and nominated artists.
Recently Alyssa has split her time between Nashville & London, making waves through the British Country music scene with packed out headline tours, while landing opening slots for some of the country's most successful acts. In 2023 Alyssa was asked by the NFL to represent the USA in singing the National Anthem for 87,000 people & 10 million television viewers at Wembley Stadium for the NFL International Games series, and this year also started big for Alyssa who produced the winning song of the year at the British Country Music Association Awards, and leveled up stages at C2C at the O2 arena and Highways festival late night Jam after Eric Church.
