After a 20-year recording career and five studio albums, this dynamic and diverse songbird has much to sing about. On her critically acclaimed Countrypolitan Duets album, she was joined by artists including Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers, Larry Carlton, Ray Price and Connie Smith. The album's debut single, "You Don't Know Me" with American Idol's Matt Giraud, hit No. 1 on the iTunes jazz chart and made her the reigning queen of the country-jazz vocal duet. Her 2014 album Jazzbird/Songbird debuted in the top 10 on the iTunes jazz chart.
In addition to her recording career, Anna is co-producing an album with husband Monty Powell called A Nashville State of Mind featuring Lyle Lovett, Emmylou Harris, Lady Antebellum, The Zac Brown Band, David Nail, Gavin DeGraw and The Eli Young Band singing the songs of Billy Joel.
"There is nothing stronger than the power a song can have on someone if it's well written," says Anna, who's written songs recorded by Eli Young Band, Lady Antebellum, Reba McEntire, Brooks & Dunn, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Ann Womack, Chris Cagle, Chuck Wicks and others.
Anna's song "A House, A Home" became the theme song for the charity Habitat for Humanity International.
Born and raised in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, and a graduate of Loyola University in Maryland, Anna lives in Nashville where she carries on Music City's rich songwriting tradition while creating and recording innovative album projects that have appeal to wide audiences.
