Twenty-year-old phenom David J has earned more than 119 million career on-demand streams on his noteworthy independent releases including “Lost My Heartbreak,” “Before You,” and “Stay.” All appear on his 2022 EP Lost My Heartbreak and helped catapult David J to the frontlines of country music’s cutting edge. With a deeply embedded work ethic rooted in his upstate New York hometown, David began honing his hook-heavy songwriting skills while still in high school and started making trips to Nashville when he was just 15. The self-taught multi-instrumentalist has supported Blake Shelton, Riley Green, Mitchell Tenpenny, Chase Rice, Lauren Alaina, and more on the road and recently announced his signing with Sony Music Nashville in partnership with Ryan Tedder's Runner Music. He has released a trio of new songs since joining the major label: "Once," "Last Time," and "Traffic on a Backroad." With nearly 1 million total social followers, David J is quickly on his way to carving a singular path in modern country music.
