James Otto
Artist Information
One of the most distinct vocalists in Country music, Otto received a Grammy nomination for vocal performance on his breakthrough song “Just Got Started Lovin’ You” which became the biggest hit of 2008. A solid songwriter, Otto co-wrote Jamey Johnson’s “In Color,” which won both CMA “Song of the Year” and ACM “Song of the Year” awards in 2008. Otto took time out of the limelight to concentrate on his family and during that time expanded his writing circle, penning songs for John Anderson, Trace Adkins, Randy Owen and many others including the Zac Brown Band hit “No Hurry.” Otto returns to the industry refreshed and with a greater understanding of who he is as an artist and the music he wants to bring to fans. He has a busy tour schedule lined up for fall 2015, joining Jason Blaine and Tebey on the “Three’s A Party” tour in Canada and is continuing to write for his new project.
