Jason Roller arrived in Nashville from Indianapolis, IN in 1996 at just 16 years old and got his first touring gig that same year with Ken Mellons. Now, 27 years later, Jason is one of the most sought after musicians in town for a variety of instruments including electric guitar, acoustic guitar, fiddle, mandolin and ganjo.
Jason has toured with many artists, including Joe Diffie, Daryl Worley, Tracy Lawrence, Mark Chesnutt, John Berry, Wynonna, Kellie Pickler, Gretchen Wilson, Collin Raye, Dave Mason and Dolly Parton. He currently tours with the group Alabama.
In addition to touring, Jason does studio work and owns and operates his own studio where he produces full length artist projects and songwriter demos. Jason has played on records for Joe Diffie, Lynn Anderson, Deep Purple, Dave Mason, Jeff Cook and William Shatner, Wynonna, Gordon Mote, Bucky Covington, Jaron and the Long Road to Love, Casting Crowns, and played fiddle on an Alice Cooper record. Jason’s background is in Bluegrass and he is still heavily involved in the Bluegrass world, playing on records for well-known Bluegrass artists like Jerry Salley, Kristi Cox, Billy Droze, and Marija Droze. Jason is two time Grammy nominated for his contributions in a celebrated Bluegrass record and a famed Reggae record.
Jason had his first performance on the Grand Ole Opry at just 17 and is thrilled that 24 years later he gets to step on the stage every week.
