In January 2014, Lucy Hale released her much-anticipated debut single, “You Sound Good To Me,” and the response was palpable! The song shot up the charts, landing at No. 1 on iTunes country chart and #15 overall. USA Today called the song “effervescent” while CMT.com proclaimed, “the actor-turned-singer sounds very legit, very country, and much like a sure thing for country radio.” The song was written by Nashville tunesmiths Ashley Gorley, Luke Laird and Hillary Lindsey.
Lucy has recently been named as the Beauty Brand Ambassador for mark, Avon’s beauty and fashion boutique brand. In the role, Lucy will appear in mark Magalogs as well as on mark and Avon digital platforms. She will also be the spokesperson for the m.powerment by mark campaign, the brand’s philanthropic effort dedicated to breaking the cycle of dating abuse and partner violence against young women.
Lucy realized a passion for music at an early age and began voice lessons in earnest at the age of nine. She appeared on American Juniors, finishing in the top five and becoming a member of the band which was formed at the show's conclusion. Her positive experience on the program inspired her to seriously pursue a career in entertainment.
