A multi-Grammy Award winner, Rodney Crowell has written or recorded 15 #1 songs on the country music charts throughout his successful career, with cuts by country legends (Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, George Strait) to current country chart toppers (Tim McGraw, Keith Urban) to blues icons (Etta James) to rock and roll legends (Van Morrison, Bob Seger).
He has also received the prestigious ASCAP Founders Award at the 55th annual ASCAP Country Music Awards and has won five Americana Music Awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award for Songwriting in 2009 as well as Song of the Year in 2017 for “It Ain’t Over Yet.”
