Jon Pardi | “Beer for Santa”

Jon Pardi gets festive on his first ever Christmas album, Merry Christmas from Jon Pardi, released in 2023. The opening track “Beer for Santa” swaps out the classic milk and cookies for something with a little more Christmas cheer. Check out the music video where an animated Jon cracks open a cold one with Ol’ Saint Nick.

Perfect song for: Getting ready for your holiday party.

Notable lyrics: “So tonight, I'm leaving beer out for Santa / Yeah, I might stay up and have one with him too.”

Lorrie Morgan | “Up on Santa Claus Mountain”

On her 1993 album Merry Christmas from London, Lorrie Morgan sings the delightful “Up on Santa Claus Mountain,” which has become a beloved country classic. Backed by a charming children’s chorus, Lorrie tells the story of an enchanting place where it is Christmas all the time.

Perfect song for: Decorating your Christmas tree and wrapping presents.

Notable lyrics: “Boys and girls with golden curls as happy as can be / Up on Santa Claus Mountain, won't you come with me.”

Chris Janson | “It Is Christmas”

Chris Janson’s 2018 track, “It Is Christmas,” paints a familiar scene—family gathered around a table, presents around the tree, and Christmas movies playing on TV. It’s a perfect picture of that warm and comforting holiday feeling.

Perfect song for: Winding down after a long day of Christmas shopping.

Notable lyrics: “We're makin' memories we're never gonna forget / I wish every day could feel just like this.”

Chris Young | “Under the Weather”

Chris Young’s swoon-worthy baritone voice croons out Christmas love song, “Under the Weather.” The sultry lyrics capture the enticing feeling to stay inside and warm up by the fire with your sweetheart on those cold winter days.

Perfect song for: Cuddling up for cuffing season.

Notable lyrics: “Me being wrapped up with you is the best present I could get.”

Steven Curtis Chapman | “Christmas Is All In The Heart”

New Opry inductee Steven Curtis Chapman has four holiday albums in his repertoire. His first Christmas album, The Music of Christmas, features several classic Christmas hymns as well as his original track, “Christmas Is All In The Heart”—a sentimental reminder that the joy of Christmas doesn’t come from gifts, but from the love we share.

Perfect song for: Driving around and looking at Christmas lights.

Notable lyrics: “And even if no white snow falls / Well, that's all right because / The joy can still be found, wherever you are / Christmas is all, all in the heart.”

Chapel Hart | “Come on Santa (Ready for Christmas Now)”

Female country music trio Chapel Hart is set to release their first Christmas album, Hartfelt Family Christmas, on October 25th. Ahead of its release, they’ve introduced a single with some jingle—“Come on Santa (Ready for Christmas Now).” The track is perfect for those of us who are already counting down the days until Christmas!

Perfect song for: Stirring up the classic debate—Christmas music before Thanksgiving? (We think YES!)

Notable lyrics: “Come on Santa, (Come on I think that it’s time) / Come on Santa, (I see the reindeer fly) / Come on Santa, (Come on Santa) / I’m ready for Christmas now.”

See all these artists and more at an Opry Country Christmas show, this December at the Grand Ole Opry House. Featuring Christmas classics and fresh holiday hits, it’s a memorable night of music and merriment you don’t wanna miss!
