Our Favorite Boutiques and Local Shops in Nashville
If you’re looking for the perfect gift with that unique Music City stamp, these shops and boutiques around town are here to tempt. Just remember to treat yourself, too.
A Thousand Faces
Step inside A Thousand Faces, and you’ll leave with a thousand things in your bag. The eclectic Hillsboro Village store has been supplying the city with must-have gifts ranging from jewelry to pottery, ornaments to greeting cards, for nearly three decades.
Manuel Couture
We can’t all be Porter Wagoner, but we can don the rhinestone threads that set him apart on the Opry stage. Longtime designer Manuel Cuevas has dressed everyone from Wagoner to Salvador Dalí to Kesha with his distinctive jackets and belts. Shop his Broadway store.
Hatch Show Print
One of the country’s oldest operating letterpress print shops, Hatch Show Print captures music’s greatest moments on paper in a way that’s uniquely Nashville. Posters make for one-of-a-kind décor, and while you’re shopping, you can take a tour of the shop’s old-school operations.
Draper James
Actress Reese Witherspoon might’ve taken up residence in Hollywood, but she hasn’t forgotten her hometown roots here in Nashville. Her preppy 12South boutique serves up Southern sophistication with a side of sweet tea — no seriously, you’re offered a drink to sip on while you walk around the store.
Grimey's
The store of every vinyl lover’s dreams, Grimey’s boasts a wide selection of “new and preloved” records that span all genres. But a trip to Grimey’s isn’t just about the merchandise; it's about the experience. The shop plays host to free in-store performances, making it one of coolest spots to hang out in town.
Batch
Located inside the Nashville Farmers’ Market, Batch has all the artisanal Music City-themed gifts you could want, from tea towels featuring prominent landmarks around town to locally made cheese straws. Batch also offers a variety of curated gift baskets filled with goodies that’ll make every wannabe Nashvillian homesick.
House Of
For gifts that give back, head to House Of, a community-focused shop, fueled by a partnership between Belmont University students and the Nashville Fashion Alliance. The shop highlights local designers and brands, many of which donate proceeds toward initiatives that help reduce homelessness and human trafficking, among other causes.
White's Mercantile
Whether you’re shopping for a trendy cousin or an aunt who’s a chef in her own right, White’s Mercantile is a modern take on yesterday’s general store and has something for everyone on your list — plus, all the things you never knew you needed but suddenly have to buy right this very instant.
Parnassus Books
Lose all track of time inside this inviting and independent bookstore complete with roaming shop dogs. Parnassus’ walls are covered floor to ceiling with handpicked books just begging to be read next to a roaring fire, and the children’s section is nothing short of magic.
Shop the Grand Ole Opry
Shop one-of-kind country inspired clothing, accessories, gifts, home decor and more in the Opry Online Store, the premiere online destination for all things country music.
